This course provides a structured understanding of institutional audits and compliance requirements in higher education. It explores the role of audits in ensuring regulatory compliance, institutional quality, and continuous improvement, based on the standards and guidelines set by the Council on Higher Education (CHE). Institutions that fail to comply with regulatory requirements risk losing accreditation, financial penalties and reputational damage.
